Teresa Collins Designs

Teresa Collins is a well known designer known for her chic designs both in scrapbooking and in life in-general. She came to me as a reference from a past employer of mine and was interested in a brand new "manageable" website for her products. Her site that she had was built on some sort of ASP.NET Shopping Cart solution that had used for a few years that was difficult to manage and a little out of control.

She came to me wanting a simple and organized site that she, and a few of her employees, could have access to manage. She wanted the basic business pages, newsletter sign-up, products section, and a wholesale section that would require wholesalers to request an account to gain access to forms and excel files.

The overall site wasn't too much to handle, but for it being a roughly 2-3 week project it got a little tight. The website launch was the morning of her appearance on a local morning show (Good Morning Utah) as well as just in time for the largest tradeshow of the year for her. Everything came together nicely, and there are still some things that are under development that will be rolled out in the near future. Drupal was a great platform for this site, and it will definitely pay itself off with the easy of management down the road.
