Jensen Group Real Estate

amariotti — Sat, 03/27/2010 - 14:30

Jensen Group Real Estate has been really the only real estate agent that my wife and I have ever had. They helped us buy our home in Layton and then we turned around and sold it a few years later. They've also worked with us a number of times to answer questions and help resolve other issues. I would recommend them over anyone in a heart beat!

The Jensen Group needed a website to serve a few purposes: (1) share information about the group, (2) allow them to have people sign-up for upcoming workshops and seminars on their website, and (3) allow their clients to browse the MLS through their website. I'll go ahead and touch on each of those briefly.

  1. This one's a no brainer. I've created the basic framework for the website, and I have turned over the management of the content to them.
  2. Using the Signup module I enabled the Seminar content type to be open for people sign-up for. This was fairly simple and straight forward, and by giving the company rights they can manage the events themselves.
  3. The Wasatch Front MLS allows agents to create accounts and pay a yearly fee to have a customer portal embedded onto your site in an iframe. This made is so that on the Home Search page there is a customized version of the site suited for my client.

The site came together well, and the content is still under maintenance by my client. With Drupal, things are possible.
