Why I'm so excited about Rule.fm!

Before I get into this post I need to lay the groundwork. I started a new job at Jibe Media about 6 weeks ago. We're an ad agency that does just about everything under the sun for our clients—and more! I've loved every minute of being there, and have enjoyed the challenges that it brings.
One thing that I have really noticed about Jibe is there focus on the cloud, which is why we went with Basecamp as our Project Management/Task Management app of choice. Before this job I had used it before, but not like I was going to need to use it in this new job. Well, it's been 6 weeks and I have to say that I have actually enjoyed working with it. It's not perfect software, but it does what it needs to really well.
Over the last week or two I've really been doing some thinking about the imperfections of Basecamp, more specifically the lack of integration between their other services, namely Highrise. Highrise is a simple CRM tool, similar to Salesforce, but very simple and slick to use. I love Highrise, but it doesn't integrate at all with Basecamp.
Anyway, as I had been thinking about these frustrations I came across the post on TechCrunch about a new product called rule.FM from Fusion Monarch. After watching the video I realized how much we were missing out on. After glancing through the list of features it just blows my mind the things that we have that aren't integrated into one product.
All I can say is that I am really stoked to try it out and see if it'll fit in our work environment. It seems like it will, and it also seems like it may also eliminate some other services given the large feature set it comes with. I'm really excited to try it out....August 23rd can't come soon enough! You guys stay hydrated in that garage of yours! Can't wait to test it out!
